​Literacy for Littles (18 months-36 months)
This fun and engaging class will get the kids and parents moving, singing and smiling! Students will learn songs and play games as they start getting early exposure to the alphabet and the different sounds letters make. The class will also have exposure to various fiction and nonfiction read alouds as well as supplemental activities that pair with the story being shared.
​Reading Readiness (3-6 year olds) & Reading Rockstars (6-10 year olds)​
Students will be up and moving with a variety of multisensory learning activities and games. Many reading skills will be addressed in a way that students are having so much FUN they do not even realize they are learning. The class will also have exposure to various fiction and nonfiction read alouds as well as supplemental activities that pair with the story being shared.
Readers' Theater (5-10 year olds)
Students will read a variety of books that they will be transforming into a readers’ theater play. They will be creating their own settings and costumes. Readers theater helps improve students' reading fluency as well as give the child a chance to work on public speaking all while fostering their creativity and individuality.
Camp READCESS (3-10 year olds)
​Camp Readcess is a multi-sensory learning experience that provides highly engaging instruction to enrich and inspire young children as they become lifelong readers, while maintaining a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Each day, a new theme will be introduced with literacy activities, songs and crafts that go along with the theme: Mad Science Monday, Tall Tales Tuesday, Wellness Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday and Just for Fun Friday
